Our training programs in Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Licensed Nursing Assistant, and Phlebotomy Technician are designed to not only meet the needs of employers, but to meet the needs of potential students who have busy lives and other obstacles that may impede their ability to access training and enter a new profession.
Each of these training programs results in an industry-recognized credential upon successful completion of the course and passing of the certification exam.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
In this “earn as you learn” certification medical assistant program, participants are full-time, benefited Concord Hospital employees from the start of the apprenticeship program. The student will have the opportunity to gain fundamental knowledge on basic scientific principles, practice administrative, and preparatory assistive clinical task. Units of study include, but are not limited to, computer skill training, vital signs, EKG’s, laboratory testing, blood draws, injections, pharmacology, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, coding, appointment scheduling, emergency response and first aid, psychology, and electronic medical records with an emphasis on exceptional professionalism and a superb work ethic. Licensed Nursing Assistant
This flexible LNA training program in partnership with MCC and Concord Hospital provides an 8-week, hybrid model, which includes online learning coupled with in-person lab and clinical hours. Participants in the program are part-time, benefit eligible hospital employees from the start of the program and receive 100% of their tuition paid by Concord Hospital. A high school diploma or GED is required. Spots are limited so apply today!

Phlebotomy Technician

Become an essential team member in the healthcare field by beginning a phlebotomy career.
Phlebotomists draw blood from patients and blood donors but also help patients feel comfortable and explain the procedures. They also perform basic testing such as reading blood glucose levels, prepare blood, urine and other specimens for testing, and maintain medical equipment. Upon successful completion of this training, you will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association Certified Phlebotomy Technician national exam.
Pharmacy Technician
Coming January 2024
The Pharmacy Technician program prepares students for the National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification exam.
Students learn interpersonal skills and regulatory standards required of pharmacy technicians. The course includes roles and responsibilities, responses to regulatory issues, adherance to quality assurance procedures, patient and medication safety procedures, medication handling, billing, and more.
